How to Use
Using coir grow cubes is quick and efficient, perfect for hydroponic and seedling applications. Here's how:
Step 1: Hydrate the Cubes
- Soak the cubes in clean water or a mild nutrient solution
- Allow 10–15 minutes for full expansion
- Drain excess water
Step 2: Insert Seeds or Cuttings
- Place seeds into the center hole of each cube
- For cloning, insert the cutting securely in the hole
- Gently press to ensure contact with the medium
Step 3: Maintain Ideal Conditions
- Place cubes in a tray with proper humidity and temperature control
- Use a humidity dome if necessary to retain moisture
- Ensure moderate lighting for healthy sprouting
Step 4: Water & Feed as Needed
- Mist or lightly water to maintain moisture
- Apply diluted nutrient solution once germination begins
Step 5: Transplanting
- Once roots emerge through the cube, transplant into a larger system (grow bags, pots, or hydroponic setups)
- No need to remove the cube—transplant directly to minimize root disturbance
Step 6: Reuse or Compost
- After use, cubes can be composted or sterilized for reuse depending on plant type and condition
