How to Use
Coco briquettes are simple to use and ideal for a wide range of applications. Here’s how to use them effectively:
Step 1: Hydrate the Briquettes
- Place the compressed briquette in a container or tray
- Add 4–5 liters of clean water per briquette and let it expand for 20–30 minutes
- Fluff the expanded material to loosen it for use
Step 2: Incorporate into the Growing Medium
- Mix the expanded coir with soil or use it as a stand-alone medium for hydroponics
- Ensure it is evenly spread or mixed throughout the growing container
Step 3: Planting
- Use the hydrated coir as a planting medium for seeds, seedlings, or cuttings
- Maintain proper spacing for healthy plant growth
Step 4: Watering & Nutrient Application
- Water the plants regularly, ensuring the briquettes maintain moisture but don't stay waterlogged
- Add hydroponic nutrients or balanced fertilizers as needed
Step 5: Disposal or Reuse
- Once used, the briquettes can be composted or reused in future growing cycles after flushing out salts
